Sarah Michelle Gellar was born on 14 April, 1977, and is an only child. Sarah enjoys ice skating, water skiing, roller-blading and she occasionally goes cliff diving. She was a competitive figure skater for 3 years and was ranked 3rd in the New York State Regional Competition. Sarah has taken 5 years of Tae Kwon Do and is active in physical fitness. She attended high school at Professional Children's School in New York, graduating two years early with a 4.0, and considers herself a workaholic.
